End of the day the player is under contract and needs to keep his mouth shut. Regardless of whether his latest outburst has been taken out of context the lad is clearly too thick to handle the media.

See where you are coming from Sir Pie, hugely frustrating and he is either totally spoilt, very badly advised or stupid (or quite poss a combination of all three). However, if Warno punished him every time he was out of line he wouldn't have won us promotion almost single handed. Think we just have to trust Warno to handle this. Am sure in his diplomatic way he will be reminding Tabs in Italy he has to focus on the job he actually has rather than the one ultimately he was deemed not good enough to get.

I can't even find the thread now, so either I'm going mad, or that was some insanely surreal dream I just had.
Ok I apologise and never ment it to get this level.I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Anyway, if Warnock is going to be so publically threatened so should Adel.
Both are under contract and if one rule applies to one so it should to the other. There's no reason why he can't start the season as well as Carroll did for Newcastle and get his dream move afterwards instead of acting like a spoilt brat.

What's the sanction? I think any heavy-handed action would be quite useless. We have to look at what's best for the team, and that is a relatively happy Taarabt performing and keeping his dream move alive. NW can get him to perform(with a little work) which will suit us and if he does the biz then who knows the big hitters may stump up for him..

Anyway...Back to the point. Whilst I can't disagree that the best is a happy Taarabt, it really p**ses me off that there are many fans who seem to feel he should be allowed to do and say as he pleases. I don't care how important his performances may be on the pitch, he needs to grow the f**k up and change his attitude. It's not fair on the rest of the team, who have to act professional, and as I continually bang on about, this does no good for team morale...Something which is far more important than keeping this petulant f**ker happy.
There is no way on earth that I would be happy for any player to be given such preferntial treatment, and certainly not one who clearly doen't want to be here.
I'd love to see him prove me wrong, and go and put his body on the line for us, but I don't think anyone can honestly say they feel he will.Your mum would love me...

One day Adel Taarabt might wake up and hear a "clonk" noise.
It will be a penny dropping.
He may just realise that the reason such a massive talent is not being persued by a top Premier League team, or a big club in Spain is his attitude, his poor work ethic, and his ability to **** off fans and managers with his little on-pitch tantrums.
The off-pitch stuff doesn't help either.
He is 22 years old, not 17.
He has to look in the mirror and ask himself why the real big clubs aren't interested in him yet. It's partly because he's still unproven in a major league, and partly because he's a big spoilt f*cking baby.
When that dawns on him, then he can be what he wants to be.
He could start by getting a better agent, who has his best interests and long-term developement at heart. Instead of acting like a $10 #####."Trust In Warnock" - Don't just type it - Do It.
