  • Premiership fans urging boycott of QPR

OK wont happen, well I doubt it will, but there's calls across other teams messageboards to boycott QPR..from Bolton to Everton to Sunderland etc etc.

Looks like we'll be their most expensive away day in London!

I can see more great press about this coming as the season draws closer

I don't see the problem in this. The away end is tiny and it will sell out, supply and demand. I can see why people are upset at pricing out our own fans, but when we'll have a full away allocation sold shouldn't we be making as much money as possible for the club?

So completely opposite to "not being able to run a....." if you ask me, unless the figures prove to be wrong and supply outstrips demand. We can't discuss or even speculate about that though because it hasn't happened yet.

I bet the luvvies who are outraged on twitter would not be allowed to come to London anyway, so no great loss.

What is the boycott about? Our pricing?
I agree its well over the top but a Sunderland pal of mine refused to go to Bolton on the last game of the season, a meaningless game by the way, because Bolton were charging £48.
Football in general is out pricing the supporters not just QPR

That's the point really though, isn't it. Don't really read other club's forums unless there are links to amusing threads, but suspect every club has there own bunch of unhappy fans.

                            Pointless.

Twitter is only used by the elite Twitterati - i.e. those who work in media within a 10 mile radius of W11.

Other parts of the country are still graduating from Bebo and myspace to Facebook. Give it a couple of years.

Northern monkeys won't have a clue.

Our prices are too high for home fans and away fans - that's the point. It's a hole and they can only charge what we charge our home fans in similar seats.

We are ripping our fans off which has had a knock on effect.
