as for gabbidon, happy if fit a good addition.

must say on a lighter note.. all our signings are all 1 year contracts.. not much faith in player or club.. wonder which.
Think its an acknowledgement that we don't want to be stuck with another Vine/ Agyman/ Cook etc - they are unlikely to have much re-sale value so why burden ourselves with a wage commitment, particularly when we dont know what division we will be in next year.

Their on 1 year contracts cause their injury prone. Don't want them bleeding us dry from their apartments in the carribean do we.

Can he play right back? We have plenty of options in the middle but don't have too much on either side. Of course Connolly and Ramage can play there if needed but I'd rather have proper right backs competing for a starting position.

Really good signing QPR, well done
          Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
          And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Its been mentioned he also plays left back but haven't heard about right back. Sky describes him as "versatile". Personally I'd give Rowlands a go at right back but clearly isn't going to happen as too out of favour.

Gab was excellent when we 1st signed him bout 5 yrs ago.The last 2 yrs he has been either injured and when he did play very average.not a patch on the player he was. He`s a decent free i guess but dont expect wonders from him.no sour grapes just telling it how it is.hes a centre back, got ruined at left back a few times last season.

I may be greedy but add Routledge then we may have half a chance...

Thanks Hammer, appreciate your input. We know only too well how injury can ruin a player (you don't fancy Rowan Vine, Rob Hulse or Lee Cook do you?), I suppose we have to hope that our medical people can succeed where yours failed with Gabiddon and Dyer (and in fairness ours failed with Fitz Hall and Martin Rowlands).

That and QPR don't want to be paying them Premiership wages if as is likely they are back in the Championship in 2012/13.

I will add that if ge can stay fit he is a good signing as id Dyer, but their injury problems have plagued their careers and I don't expect them to play more than half the season...if that.

dont fancy any of them and we finally have a shrewd manager who will avoid them like the plague!!!

your medical people will be extremely busy with dyer.

Not very good to be honest, he was poor for West Ham so I doubt he'll be a major boost for us. But then again, if we are restricted to freebies and can't buy a player then we have no choice but to sign cast offs.

Another gamble.....can't be excited over 2 players that couldn't get in a relegated team last season....
