I must be going mad, but I thought Adel's delivery from free kicks and corners was at times top class! we just didn't have the decent players to use brains and get onto the end of them. Direct free kicks, not 1 player in the world will score or hit the target every time from one. If they are set up for a left footer, then let a left footer take them, if for a right footer Adel, Bullard if he signs, other then that no one in our team that will start week in week out would be better then Adel.

Robbo I agree , al lot of his dead ball strikes hit the wall or flew over by the amount of kicks that sailed through strikers paradise with no one near them was unbelievable.
Had Carroll been there he would have hit 25 goals from AT delivery.
