Gbbidon could be a good signing. I have been impressed the few times i have seen him. My west ham suporting mate seems to rate him as tough tackling, very fast and a good reading of the game. Thoughts

Good player, if we can keep him fit.

Useful that he can play LB & CB.

I do wonder why West Ham chose to release him though...

...just saw on his Wiki that Big Sam actually wanted to keep him but Danny wanted to leave.

West Ham wanted him to re sign but he wanted to leave.

Always liked him even when he was Cardiff, still not convinced he will sign as he may want a longer contract than we will give him due to his injury isues.

But as you said if he stays fit he will be a great signing

He's not a bad player at all. Has a bit of pace which our defence seriously lacks.

I was so sure i'd hate him, he looks good
                Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                And many more mistakes

i work alongside 4 hammer season ticket holders who were all glad to see the back of him. he was only a squad player at a relegated side so not such a great signing imo.

When you've gone down you're hardly likely to give a big up to your defenders. We'll have him with thanks...... And Upson too
