I don't know if BE & FB really believe we will stay in the premier league (under their ownership) with just a couple or perhaps three more players. But unless they are world-class signings we still have very little realistic hope, in my opinion. If Adel/Bothroyd/Dyer/Hall/Kenny/Faurlin/Gabbidon (assuming the latter signs) stay fit we might just make it to @28-29 points, but that would still be a tremendous achievement I reckon.

Come on mate - dont be so despondant
Let's assume we get just 2 more players in - say DJ and Bullard for example - in addition to Bothroyd, Webber, Gabbidon and Dyer
With Adel staying - i think we have every chance of finishing 17th or higher
Certainly not all doom and gloom

If our fabulously wealthy owners can see their way to spending some more nothing, maybe two, three, more nothing, then the skies the limit, or nothing is the limit, as they say in the QPR boardroom.
QPR, the newly-promoted club that has spent, errrrr, NOTHING, on improving their first-team squad, coming to a premiership ground near you, SOON.
