I think ur find with Naughton is that a deal was agreed in principle but not signed and Norwich have gone in an offered Spurs a fee (like Leicester did last season) which I doubt we will match.

But all things change as we match the offer (lol) or Naughton prefers to stay in London so signs for us, we will just have to wait and see

100% correct.

Though would say that Naughton is in South Africa at the moment (along with all the necessary paperwork signatories) so doubftul if Norwich have even spoken directly to the boy yet. Would doubt anything will happen this side of the weekend.

Yep, I meant a payment / fee to loan the player, not buy him outright.

There was talk of selling him for £2.5m.
So I doubt they would want a £million just for the right to borrow him.

Thus, I'd expect a few 000'thousand, which would indicate we are penny pinching again.
