I know deals like this are complex and often take a while (esp when QPR are involved) but this is starting to really drag.

Can't help but think that if the right offer had come in, things would be a lot further on. Can't also help but think that if the right offer hasn't come in by now, it won't. Plenty of choice around for decent players when you start paying £10m+. Most of them probably proven at a higher level than Adel also.

The longer there is no news, the more I think he's going to be with us until Christmas.

I'm increasingly coming to the view that he may well stay, Neil has said he wants him to stay today and then we get the report that he wants to go to Italy (I think the journo put the extra bit on about getting fit for his move).

Taraabt has never himself publicly said he wanted to go, he's said he is willing to stay but if the right offer for the right place came in he would be interested. He said he was interested in the PSG move as he has said he would be interested in many clubs. However surely there has to be a weighing up as to what is in his best long term interests and its global exposure now and more cash later against more cash now, less exposure and no guarentees of actually playing.
