Most people seem to want us to get some more players in over next 2/3 weeks. Nobody will be carping about any of these prospective players missing the tour to Cornwall though will they? I don't think it's a big deal for Adel to miss our friendlies; at worst it'd be like last year when NW used him sparingly for the initial games.
I'd want him to stay with us and if that means just 60 minute bursts for our opening games I'd happily take that.

OK this is my take on it.

Adel has not gone to cornwall as the manager would want to see how we perform without him e.g. who is going to take corners, free kicks, attacking passing etc.. and assess thier delivery. With tarbs in cornwall he would still be the play maker and everything would still go through him.

But for the trip to Italy he must go if a deal is not complete. The reason for this is simple with Flavio doing the deal you know its not going to be a simple one and there is a high chance he will put some stupid clause in that could make it fall through. If this was to happen then Adel would be with us until Jan and we would need him to play. Excluding him and making him train with the kids or reserves will only upset him which could cause another tantrum, it would also mean he wouldnt be fit for the start of the season and the chances of getting him to give us 100% would be minimal (as we treated him poorly), if he dosnt give 100% then he would be so good in the premiership so then his price will fall for Jan.

If he dosnt train with us or go to Italy if he has not been sold by the start of the season in all the cases discussed we lose (bite your nose off to spite your face)
