On the one hand sell him now to maximize price tag, fair enough. But if as you say none of the money will be available for new players, how is that a good move? If that's the scenario whether he's sold for £15m or £15 makes no difference to the team. Therefore it makes sense to keep him.2011-2013, 2 seasons in the Premiership, 76 games, 14 wins........two years of my life I'll never get back!!
2013/2014 mediocrity topped off with a win at Wembley....
2014/2015 was pretty much the same as 2011-2013.....
2015/2016, average at best.....
2016/2017, same old, same old....
2017/2018, aim low, avoid disappointment!
Its the hope that kills you!

Not so sure about T&C's intentions though; it could be argued that the more loot they get the likelier they are to hold on; they don't have to sell, don't need the money and are getting some kind of perverse pleasure out of pissing off the fans..

And just so you know my feelings on this matter, although he helped us out well and I would love to see him stay a little longer, unfortunately I do feel the time is right for him to leave, just hope Neil is allowed to use the money leftover after spurs have taken their cut.Queens Park RangersNPower Champions 2010/2011

you know, 80's I just realized the best way (the only way) to get Adel to stay is to get him injured, they can't buy him if he is injured, so can someone break his wrist? Leave the legs alone, we need him to play, but break a hand or something...too much? slight injury to his knees/legs would be alright, as long as he fails the medical! Send the Godfather to see him.

In fact let's break all their wrists(except Paddy's, just his nose) and then we could keep them all, forever........
