Please tell me Paul, that was your attempt at sarcasm?
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Agree, I was quite impressed that membership is only 40 quid and I will become a member but I really am dreading next season, and I will definitely only go to the smaller games like Swansea, norwich etc where I think we can atleast compete with. I really don't get why some fans r looking forward to man u etc as I really think we would do well to come away from old trafford less than 6-0 with this current squad.

But if, just if we did manage to beat man u etc on their on soil.
Gotta be in it to win it as they say.

Agree but like your slogan, we have as much change of beaten man u at old trafford as we have winning the lottery.

I know I sound very negative and we do really need to back the players and manager, however if you look at the players in our squad then we have relegation written all over. I was desperate to see us back in the top flight, although I am very lucky to be old enough to remember the Sir Les days but I did hope we could be atleast competitive. Players like webber, Puncheon are pointless signings and we might as well stick with what we've got and accept relegation.

              Such negative fans
              Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
              And many more mistakes

Remember only a few years ago Man Utd only just beat us 1-0 in the cup? and got beaten by Chelsea only 1-0. We played really well in those games so don't write your own team off yet.

                COME ON U RRRRR's!
"When you went to the corner and saw our fans celebrating the way they were you just wanted to be part of it" - Shaun Derry after we beat the scum 1-0

Would be unbelievable if we can't even secure DJ signing

That is true, but there would still be people on here who would refuse to believe what we have player wise, is as good as i is going to get.

Presumably DJ is waiting to see if anyone else will offer the money he wants as we clearly won't. There will actually be a fair number of quite decent players who suddenly find themselves surplus at the start of the season, many suddenly going a lot cheaper. The q is whether Warno will be in any position to take advantage.
