  • A positive mental attitude

publishers of self-help books should be marketing their products on all QPR message-boards because god knows the majority of posters need some counselling.

    a reminder...

    we won The Championship.

There is not that much difference(if any)between the top of the Championship and the bottom of the Premier League.

So far,we have signed 2 England internationals, and we are told that more signings are to come.

    get a grip FFS.

It gets on my ####..... constant moaning, jumping to conclusions left right and centre. What was everyones expectations this time last season..... me personally I'd have been delighted in a play off spot and look where we are! People need to calm down a bit or phone phone the samaritans, it's worse than an episode of eastenders on here sometimes.

Talk about getting a grip, if we signed Robbie Fowler, would you refer to him as an 'England international', as he has as much chance of playing for England again as Bothroyd and Dyer do and we did win the championship, but two integral players from last season, will no longer be here, so we are weaker and would not have won the championship without them, probally not even got in the playoffs without them, which blows apart your theory of "that much difference(if any)between the top of the Championship and the bottom of the Premier League"

You didnt want us to sign Taarabt last season, I didnt think Routledge was what we needed before he came on loan.

Shows what we know doesnt it?

I did not want to sign him because I thought he was a disruptive, me, me, me player, who done it for himself and not the team and I was right, NW said he was every time he mentioned his name, but they did sign and done very well and what the OP said is poppycock because, we wont have them next season so his comparison is nonsense.

                    A little bit harsh!
The thread title says it for me, and to me. We do have to look down the road and not at our toes to get through close season. The dust hasn't settled yet on what's going in behind closed doors at HQ and as Dave says NW is "bringing in a lot of players".
Might be hogwash but let's wait a few more weeks before writing next season off completely.

You are hilarious, you say we won the league last year and there is not much difference between the top of the championship and the bottom of the premiership, but two of the people that played a massive part in getting us promoted, will not be here next season and have not and probably will not be replaced with someone better.

Spin that in a positive way foe me if you can.

We won the league because of Taarabt,if he wasnt there we wouldnt have made the play offs

Routledge and lets not forget Walker also had a major impact on us picking up the points necessary for promotion..

Get real will you, the info out there about Danny Gabbidon, Danny Webber, DJ Campbell and a few other unknowns on trial, is as good as it is going to get under T&C.

I don't mind if we get into a relegation battle, dig in to grind out results, and maybe we'll survive, maybe we'll fail.
What I fear most is that we might not be up to even this standard, and I just don't want us to be humiliated.
Rose coloured specs and hope are one thing, but realising we are utterly out of our depth is quite another.
                              Really hope I'm wrong.
