The reason we got promoted is Neil Warnock. This was Amit's decision to employ him. Warnock then persuaded our best player by a mile to sign for us and 19 goals and 20 assists later the rest is history.
I totally agree with first bit but.... it was the boards decision to employ him.
If it was solely Amit, as you said, and he welds such power why did the STs increase so much and why is Warnock still at the club? He has said many times through the last season that he was communicating with Flav.
Amit I think brokered the deal but your naive to think it wasn't a board decision.
I am also sure that Warnock was approached before Dowie but turned us down at that time. Others may choose to confirm or rebut this comment but I seem to remember his name being mentioned around that time. Ill stand corrected.
