  • Victor Moses rejects QPR...

    ...according to NewsNowQPR.

    Youngster quashes QPR talk
    Wigan Athletic, 13:02, July 18, 2011

Victor Moses has rubbished talk he could join QPR by stating he is looking forward to the new season with Wigan.

The 20-year-old is expected to be a big star in the future and will be looking for more first team action this season having impressed when coming off the bench for the Latics last season.
With his first team opportunities at Wigan having been limited thus far it had been reported QPR boss Neil Warnock would try to prise him away from the DW Stadium with the offer of more game time.
Having worked with Moses while in charge of Crystal Palace Warnock was thought to be confident of completing a deal for £2.5million but has now been knocked back by Moses.
"As far as I'm concerned, I'm still here, I'm happy here, I'm enjoying myself here and I want to stay here for as long as I can," Moses told the Wigan Evening Post.
"It's a great club to be at, there's a real family-fee to the place, and I'm really settled here.
"All of the focus now is on next season, and I can't wait to get out there and show what I can do."

Each to their own obv, but IMO id rather have Bothroyd (quality wise, age not coming into it) or Graham than him.

Would of been a good signing under Warnock
          Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
          And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

So, "Victor Moses rejects QPR" is not exactly accurate. In fact, its not accurate at all.

Made up rumor by the press, as if he was asked that question what answer do you expect him to say as he dosnt have a ego the size of Adel's and will not want to upset the home fans or other players.

If he has been approach or if has not I would expect an average intelligent player to say the same, as he has not offend Wigan and has not offended QPR.

If, and its a bif if of course, we have bid £2.5m it shows that there is more money available to be spent than "just £1.25m for Campbell" as stated by Warnock the other day.

However, most likely just paper talk anyway.

Oh it is, surely. Has he not rejected everyone other than Wigan?

I do wonder how happy he would be and how much he was enjoying himself, if they had gone down. Still, only about 10 months to find out.

Isn't NW being "knocked back" by Moses, tant amount to Moses rejecting QPR?

The only thing first hand in that article is Victor blabbering the usual footballers line of being happy where I am, love it here, blah blah. Before that is a load of paper talk from a local Wigan rag.

Nowhere does it say that QPR have made an offer or Moses has rejected QPR.

Ask any player in the world if they would like to sign for another club while they are under contract and they all say the same thing. Except of course, our very own Adel.
