  • Who is going to create our chances????

With Tarabat off and no Routledge I am struggling to see how we're going to create chances this season. Derry and Faurlin don't get forward enough to create chances. There is no pace either going forward.

Going to be a long old season.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

Your best post, and spot on.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Finally, someone singing from the same hymn sheet. Im desperate for Adel to stay, otherwise it is relegation. And before I get pelters calling me every name under the sun coz im being negative, im saying it coz its the truth and I dont bury my head in the sand ! AT and WR must have created 90% of our goals last year, now they both (probably) wont be here next season and NW has confirmed he has sweet FA to spend on transfers. Long f***ing season is an understatement. But like you all, i'll be there supporting the lads like ive done all my life. Its just incredibly frustrating to see the job NW and the lads done last season and now they aren't being backed by the owners ! Wasn't Champions League the 5 year target ? Dont make me laugh !

i get your point, smith, mackie, ephraim assuming aswell dyer.. are all direct players they dont really have too many tricks or creative play.

buzsaky is probably now our most creative player. not a clue to how moen is doing.. but lets put last year aside and get behind whoever starts. hopefully moen will be the player we are searching for.

before you jump down my throat.. we aint got much else in terms of an alternative.

in taarabts position id go in this order:

          buzsaky
          smith
          moen/ephraim

i id like to think dyer would play wide.

          Lovejoy: "No?!"

Buzz is really the only player i can see created a few chances next season, and hes not even guarenteed a start! Really hope he does get a fair crack this year as he is a superb ball player!

I also think Faurlin will create a few chances but, as already said, he plays fairly deep so his creativity will be slightly limited.

Buz is currently injured. Hogan is sh1t. Future looks bleak.

I think we can't sell Tarabat unless we have an able replacement.

we are not the ones wanting to leave / in charge of his sale..

we have no choice.. hell even NW doesn't

You play Fraulin further forward, he has great vision and could play that creative role no problem.

other than Buzsaky who is or may be injured, QPR have almost zero in creativity.

Unless good signings are made, this will be a hugely disappointing season.

Sunderland got relegated in 2005/6 with 15 points. Two or three seasons later, Derby were even worse. In 2011/12, QPR can relieve Derby of their unwanted record.

IMO, Faurlin is to dependent on his left foot to play the free role, even a 10 yard pass with his right foot is hit n miss. One of the reasons why Taarabt was so good last season, was because he could do everything with both feet, so a defender could never force him onto his weaker foot and did not know what was coming. A fit Buzz is a viable option and it might just work out that Buzz gets a chance because no one else is here and I hope he takes it.

would anybody consider this if bullard signed:

                          derry bullard

                          smith faurlin mackie

                          bothroyd

or would you be more inclined to put bullard where faurlin is?

Persoally, id swap Faurlin and Bulllard round as i think Bullards alot more effective in an attacking role. As it is though i cant see him coming tbh and think BUzz is the man for that role... should he recover from injury OK for start of season.
