haha tbf i can see where youre coming from so cant disagree! with the players we currently have i must admit i would feel most comfortable with Shittu and Fitz at the back. Both big and strong and have PL experience which I think counts for alot.

I have alot of respect for MC & KG though as they did a great job for us a majority of last year, yes Hill, Walker, Orr and especially Kenny came to the rescue alot, but at the end of the day our defence record speaks for itself and the CBs must take alot of credit for that.

He has only ever played something like 8 games in a row before getting injured whilst his record in keeping a clean sheet is extremely poor. And has been with us for over 3 years.
not saying hes a bad player mate as i quite like him, but in response to that statement: Chris Kiwomya?

Take a look at the DVD for Leicester at home , and maybe Cardiff away. Also Forest at home.

Yakubu + Bellamy both Premiership players, you got a clear taste of what would happen to 2B.

And what about Leicester away and Cardiff at home when he was very good and we won the game?

Did we lose to Leicester at home, Forest at home or Cardiff away?

Not sure how many games you went to last season but it can't have been many.

        Swansea away he was brilliant.

Irrelevant if we lost or not Hammersmith.
The guy is lacking confiddence and when faced by a decent striker; fails.

You cant keep saying "but did we lose" because in the Premiership we WILL lose with mistakes and it will cost us!!

Mr Wenger is renowned for producing good youth players. Not many duds from Arsenal. Far better Academy than United.

                    Still dont see your point..

What went wrong with 2B then in the production line.

So why don't we highlight the mistakes of sick not Hall? I'll start with bottom of the league Scunny away where their 2 **** poor strikers pulled him apart.

connolly needs to suck it up and show some grit.

he has a terrible end to last year. the game however that stuck in my mind for him was reading. during his bad spell he played a blinder and thats the sort of player we need.

MC is all about potentially being this or that.. well now its time for him to step up.

must say im amazed at two things..

one how everybody is now pro hall.. (what next hulse?)

and two how the BEST defensive record is being put out of the window now we've been promoted. was we really that lucky last year?
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
                        Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"

Hall is strong and can win headers and lead...

Connolly makes Mr burns look like John Rambo.

                            Means nothing.

Did Wenger teach him to let the ball bounce in the box whilst under pressure? Pretty sure that's basic defensive duties in and around the box to get rid.

For the 10th time, good player but will get schooled in the Premiership.

                            Fitz & Shittu for me.

                                Gibbs

Some top players there. Arsenal do it year in and year out. United had one decent crop, 'the class of 92'
