Warnock history on buy...

Warnock one of the best managers in the game on buying players he never tells you he really after and how much money he really has to spend. Never gives anything away that why I trust him so much and why he has got some great players. The only people who know who is coming and going is the Board and his staff. He will not give out info on money we have to spend if he did then player price goes up and others come in. So wait and see come Aug 31st who in and out then judge the board and Warnock. If Warnock thought he be gone before season starts or was not going to be around long he gone fact. If he felt that the board where not backing him for to keep us up then he would go. We not going to win this league this season or be top 4 or I be looking for is top 17 but believe we finish 14.

I wish people put as much energy in supporting Warnock and his management of the club as they do bitching.

We have just bought in the best striker in the Championship and a midfield dynamo with a major point to prove. I for one am very happy.

Warnock is great at minipulating the press and people around him to get what he wants, which is great for us as he has managed to last season get the fans, players and the club pulling in the same direction.

I agree he wont let anyone know his budget and he will make his move when needed, he will however always look out for value for money and a bargin. Like all managers he has signed some duds but these have been on reasoable wages and for free, and i expect the same this year, I just hope he fines and is allowed to sign enough quality. If i was Bernie / Fav i would be happy to trust him with my money as he treats it like his own and dosnt waste it.

On Bernie/Fav they did state they want to be on the same model as Arsenal finances issues in the long term. In Warnock they will have someone who can see good budget players and in future sell at a profit. Yes agree there have been some duds so when that happens we can cope as they cheap. I do believe where we saving money getting the ground right and maybe looking at just staying up the fact is we no matter who we buy (can't see many big names coming here at present) are one of the fav to go down. Warnock job is to get players in that could keep us up and then build on that. It is only been this season that Sunderland spending big and same as Stoke.

In 3 years time we still in the prem in bigger ground and breaking even in money and looking at euro cups who going to moan then. We need to trust Warnock and his staff that they going to the job and I have read and heard Warnock state he want to have ago at the prem and I can't see him being at club that going to go down without a chance.

IMO that he has the board where he want them and he say who he wants and they do trust him like we all do.

We agree on most of what you said but i am still not convinced that they trust Warnockfor 2 reasons 1) Fav dosnt trust anyone on this earth with his money not even his famliy let alone a foorball manager (which is why its hard to sign players and 2) They did not chose Warnock and anyone coming in and taken over like they did likes there own man.

Also if in 3 years we are still in the prem and we are now estbalished like Stoke / Sunderland i can asure you that our fans will still moan regardless. They would moan about the signings, the board not showing enough ambition, or the manager as taken us as far as we can as one thing about our fans, is most are fickle and simply moanie old grumpy people.

We signed Boothroyd and Dyer and people were happy, at the first freindly people were shouting insults at our players and on here all doom and gloom again, the sad thing is all this doom and gllom and negative chants will effect our chances as we need to be behind Warnock and any player who puts on the hoops shirt next year, as we need to be the twelve man
