  • Look on the bright side...

Yes NW only has £1.25m to spend, yes NW might be booted out at some stage this season, yes there have been no celebrations of our fantastic season yet, yes we have still not seen our new kit, yes our best player is leaving us, yes our owners have priced many loyal fans out of watching our beloved team and yes there is a lot of negative press and downbeat fans at the moment but I can only assume you haven't seen the official website as Pukka Pies are back!! I can only assume that now we are in the Prem they are more than happy to reform a partnership with us, so please, when NW says he is making progress in the transfer market please believe him as I can't imagine anyone on here would have dreamed of signing Pukka pies in the close season.

Just in case you are unfamiliar with Pukka here are some of the stats:

Last year, Pukka Pies enjoyed a record sale of over 700,000 pies to football fans throughout the Premier League, Football League and Conference, and hope to break through the £1million barrier in forthcoming campaigns.

At Football Clubs in the Midlands and South, the most popular flavour of pies sold is Steak and Kidney.

You're telling us that 700,000 pies haven't already catapulted them through the £1m barrier?!
They sound remarkably cheap, about £1 a go or so by my maths.
    Don't think so, somehow!

The comment was whats known in the trade as 'kidology'.
