Sorry if I sound confused, but I thought we had a war chest of just £1.25m??
I will have to rely on someone else providing the link as I'm useless at that sort of thing (senile dementure).
Apparently, according to the article,NW is convinced he can persuade the terrible twins to cough up a £6m bid and suitable wage package to lure Crouchy back to LR and this would give Redknapp the money he needs to bid for Adebayor.

Don't fancy him back, but If it means the last option then we have no choices.

I only wish I could believe that, mate. Painful reading at times.

Taking the **** are you? If not Crouch is good enough, then what on earth is?

Calm down mates. My point is that If Couchy joins us, we will be back to the boring hoof football.

Ah, I see. So Crouch can't play with the ball on the floor? agreed...He's got terrible feet, and woeful 1st touch.

Just in case it's not obvious...I'm being sarcastic.

Ever considered that NW is playing a little game there to:

                          a) Put a little passive pressure on T&C to cough up on players that he wants, and

                          b) Send out a message to other teams that despite our perceived wealth, we are in fact a frugal club with a rigid business model and we wont pay over the odds for players.

                          Just a thought........

Oh. And as for Crouchie. Yes bloody please. Imagine him as the front man with Bothroyd backing him up
