Name a realistic (not that i think Crouch will sign at all) who is a better signing than Crouch who has scored a ratio of a goal every other game for England, if you remember rightly when he was with us before he was better on the floor than he was in the air with us & has improved ten fold since
Taarabt is probably going, and the money from that will pay for Crouch. We would then need a quality winger to get crosses in for Crouch. Tommy Smith can cross, not sure about Dyer? If we could get Kyle Walker back on loan, oh well just dreaming!

I am not against buying him but not for £6m. At 30, I do not think he is worth more than £2m. I am sure we can get a couple of Spanish/Portuguese strikers at less prices.
Personally I've always considered Crouch as underrated. Put it this way, if he was 5'11" instead of 8'3", and ha the same goals to game ratios, he would be rated alongside any English striker of the last 10 years. Unfortunately too iften the ball is pumped to his head (which ironically is probably the worst part of his game), and he looks like Bambi on ice when he runs.
I don't think it will happen in a million years, but Crouch would be a great signing. Anyone who thinks different needs to have a word with themselves.
Would rather we spent the kitty on Clyne , Naughton, DJ, Bullard and keep hold of Adel (or find a young gifted fast playmaker as a replacement- why o why could we have not kept Raheem)
