I don't care that some of your inside track stuff has been lame - your first post here is the best I've read in a long time.
Abusing players close up in the first pre-season friendly of a premier League campaign after 15 years away and after the ride the players gave us last year - that is disgisting and our club doesn't need your "support".#standuptocancer

the fans doing the abuse must have sad little lives and short memories, abusing the championship winners BEFORE they have even kicked a premiership ball, quite sickening really, and makes you wonder why they are interested in the game anyway.
Good post mate, nice to see someone for the players.

There is passion to support your team and there is being a **** some of our supporters are ****s but I think every club has some
The only time abuse directed at a player is condonable is when they are not pulling thier weight, you cant blame Hulse for not being a premiership quality striker or Ephraim for not being lional messi but thats what happens sometimesits New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworks

ps good post insider
Unfortunately a lot of fans can't afford to go, so they don't get the chance to boo the massively rich footballers. Probably don't need them either, if they can't be bothered to work hard enough to afford a ticket.
Some fans are really tall and might block your view a bit, don't need them either.
Anyone, and I do mean anyone who pays the extortionate fee for a ticket next season should be allowed to boo as much as they like as far as I'm concerned, especially if the season goes as most of us fear it might.

Of course it's ridiculous to boo at a friendly, I didn't say it wasn't. However if people pay the ridiculous ticket prices, they have the right to boo as much they like.
You equally have the right to wave your rattle and get behind the team. You can even feel superior to everyone else in the stadium, if it gets you off.

so you dont think getting behind and supporting your team more productive then booing? i dont feel superior id like to think that we we get to the gate and walk in we leave our diifferences behind for the common goal of the team,
like i said there are those who go to support and the rest ewho dont, i know wich fans i and the majority prefer

I've not booed very often, but when I've felt strongly enough I've not felt bad about it. Mark Hateley, for example, deserved every last bit of verbal abuse he got.
