Benny I think most want to see us competitive, if you put your hand on your heart I think you'd realise that won't be the case. Not saying we need to spend a fortune but we have lost 2 of our 3 best players in adel and WR who both were match winners last season. I don't think any of us had great confidence we would stay up next season regardless of who we bought because there is such a massive change of class of course in the Premiership from what we have been use to over the years but to say I am disappointed to say the least that that we only appear to making token signings to make a half hearted effort is taking the **** out of the fans
All I do know is that I would much rather be this position then us say 5-10 years ago when we were in real free fall but if we do win any games next season with the current squad then they will be really savoured

I honestly thought perhaps naively that we would spend at least £15-20 million to at least give it a go this season and to the owners that is small change and would increase the profile of the club if they are serious in wanting to sell
