I have just read a biography about John Bindon-lots of local Fulham gossip n very interesting.
Our lot used to drink with Joe Canon around Notting Hill.

yeah i have never met bindon but i think he was as a young person some kind of hard geezer,i have heard that he used to swim across the thames at chelsea bridge.

also heard a few other stories about him that are not really printable,perhaps the most amazing story ive ever heard about him involved princess margeret but i wont print that story as it could cost me my legs
