  • Lack of pace in the side

Anyone else concerned by the lack of pace in the side? With Routledge surely not joining, who do we have now with any pace? This is a real worry for me, especially in the premiership. We are going to get torn apart, and cause no threat unless this is addressed

Pace? Pacemaker more like. He has been crippled for four years, hardly able to walk, let alone run.

The way some r talking about mackie as our saviour is scaring the cr ap out of me. If we lose taarabt and neil is right and he doesn't see that money then we have lost our 2 best player minus paddy and that's a fact. Mackie is just a worker and I can't believe so many on here think he bring the quality with it
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Good to see that Mackie is still your favourite player

I bet most players are looking forward to defending...and attacking against QPR.

The team has little, if any, pace and lacks Premiership quality.

Without Taarabt, and if as it seems is likely, only a few Bosman signings to add to the squad, like Boothroyd, Dyer,Webber and maybe Upson, QPR will probably have the worst Premiership squad next season.

Swansea and Norwich of not much quality (although possibly more than QPR) at least have pace in their sides.

Quaz I love the bloke and a really decent prove that sets a superb example. I'm just worried because imo routs and adel were our 2 match winners from last season and although I rate bothroyd we r weaker this season than last.

did you really expect T & C to spend, i knew this would happen, maybe thats why i am not too bothered, already geared up for relegation.
But at least with players like mackie, no matter where we are in the league he will give his all.

We are moaning about players we have lost or losing, more concerned myself what the board are doing.

i dont think some people realise what a big difference the standard is in the premiership, to the championship. Mackie is a good player, and we have other good players - but good, in the championship is not nearly enough to compete at this level. they will be very valuable squad players yes, but if we are relying on them - then we will struggle. Makcie is good, but imo when Routledge came in, we were far more of a threat - and we will miss him very badly. I cant think of one player except "Dave" who can cause any kind of threat with pace or running at people - and that says it all

trouble is the squad in my eyes is now out of warnock's hands, will have to make do with what we have, well until he walks or is sacked.

I agree, and its very frustrating. They want Warnock to make miracles. Thats probably why Webber is with us, as only pace available on a free
