I was just on loft for words and this list was mentioned as out of contract, if my maths is correct, if we assume they are on 10k per week, it looks like nearly 7m minimum per year.Last edited by rangerforevereastcote; 16-07-2011, 12:54 AM.

What does that work out in salary over the year, bearing in mind that hardly any of them are liable to earn us a single point? All I know is the figure will be horrific.
14 x £10k = 140k per week x52 = 8,2 mill per year
like i said wage fig to low, vine hall dave on close to 5 mill between them
this is the point have been trying to make for a few eeks when people say we got loads of dosh , we havent cos of this situation, remember this doesnt inc all the other players , so our wage bill astronomical for our gate reciepts ence the more prudent approach by the board now, they made mistakes at the beginning firstly cos inexperienced and secondly when they first got us we were relegation candidates and the only way to get people to us was to pay stupid money

I know the figure is a lot higher, it's probabally more lilk 20-25m per year, and by the time we have finished with the free transfers this window, I would expect that figure to touch between 35-40m.
A lot of money!
I like any other fan want to see the best down at the bush, but just imagine we had signed all the big names we all wanted, even crap Carlton Cole wants 2m+ per year, and if the rumours are true, Vine isn't far off that.
If we get the Balance right over the next few years, the club could be in a great position and the otherwise around WILL implode!
Let's do what we always have, find cheap players, develop them, sell when the time is right then, repeat.
The great QPR was built that way, let's just carry on the tradition, like the trialist last night, you never know, Hewitt, or even the centre back, some if these kids released from the prem: or even from europes big clubs, lots of bargains out there, even when selling, we get the buying club to throw in a good young un, these big clubs would cast off good young players for potential box office signings, let's play the system!Kept the faith!
