People need to relax and stop getting so emotional about Taarabt leaving, as he will one day, whether we like it or not. There are no quotes when the yellow bar says 'SKY sources understand ...........', or when the newspapers print an exclusive, its classed as good journalism (or bad if it don't happen).

yah, Derry is a regular Hoddle. Kieron's a stretcher on two legs, I grant that Faurlin can pass, 19 goals and 22 assists we have just sold. And don't worry , you say, forgive me if I don't share your glass half full outlook. Anyway he hasn't left yet, no use crying over it yet. I suppose resigned to seeing him go would be better.

Take your depression out on Adel for not honouring his contract, as it is he who is wanting to leave and god knows what you will be like when he does go.

i see your point mate, losing your key player is a blow to any team, but at the end of the day im pretty sure he doesnt want to be here. As i see it, the sale price is a gamble, it can go 1 of 2 ways: if he stays at has a blinding 6 months he could go for 20mill in January, or, he could have 1 too many tantrums when things dont go his own way and be labelled a championship player and have his value dropped to 7mill.

I, personally, would like to see him stay. But i wouldnt be too disapointed if he did go for 15mill + (no less) as i have total faith in NW to be able to replace him. Although literally 2mins ago Ive read about Warnock currently on SSN saying about lack of funds etc and not being given money from Adels sale, so now I am edging slightly more towards your corner.....

no, I will stay away for a week when he does go, it's just terrible news, we are selling our best player by a country mile.

Just a thought (obviously both only rumours).......

Mittals to offer £91m for club - T&C want £100m
              Difference £9m
PSG to pay £15m for Taarabt - Spurs take 40%
              Leaves £9m

              Mmmmm !?!

The key question is whether Warnock would be given the money (minus the 40% for Spurs) to reinvest. If he was able to buy, say, Naughton, Jenas and Dos Santos with the money then happy days. If as I fear most of it goes towards paying off bonuses/ debts and we rely on a combination of Dyer (30 games in four years) and an Italian reserve (2 games last season) then I don't see us staying up. I'm struggling to think of a single other team quite so dependent on one player as we have been (18 goals and 22 assists).

Daniel Levy must be breathing a sigh of relief.

£1m from QPR & £6m from sell on clause is very good business for a untried at the top level talent.

Plus £9m for QPR for a player that played a MASSIVE part in getting us back in the big time is again amazing money.

Would love him to stay but can't see it now. Just hope the gaffer gets at least £4m of that money to reinvest into the squad. Can't see it though.

Not bad business at all on his part. Plus he'll probably wack a 45mill price tag on Modric which Chelski will no doubt meet and hell be laughing all the way to the bank...
