  • Season ticket sales

Went and got my mate a season ticket today and the man behind jump said we have sold between 8500 - 9000 thousand

Say 9000, add 1500 away fans leaves approximately 8000 walk up seats per game.

Personally can't see us getting that many walking up on the day. Probably looking at 14-15k crowds a lot of the time. Hope I'm wrong.

I was led to believe that the colours on the screen that show not available are either ST sold or seats earmarked for walk up's which obviously means they are not sold. 9000 is poor, if the go on genny sale I hope we shift a fair few more.

Bernie said on Sunday that the ST prices were not to expensive, as all available ST's had been sold, was he telling porkies ?

it's 1800 away fans and I think we will sell about 11/12000 STs (as they have only just gone on GS) leaving about 4500 walk ups (which will be sold in the 2 weeks before each game) which seems about right. Crowds of 16500 for the likes of Blackburn, Stoke etc (i.e. 90% of capacity) and sold out for the big games Spurs, Chelski, Liverpool, Man U, Man C, Arsenal, Fulham etc

some dogginess going on me thinks

surely people buying a season ticket should be able to pick from all available seats but online there are barely any seats available which would suggest we have sold about 13k season tickets which is obviously ********

how can the club block off available seats, that just seams really wrong to me

Think they are expecting people to be bashing down the doors to get in every other week.

I think they are very much mistaken. Signing DJ will sell a healthy amount more I'd say.

would not surprise me if they capped it at 9k, and leave the rest to be sold 2 weeks before each game.

The rest for this is simply cash flow !, no point in getting most of your money in July / Aug as it will all be gone by dec and you will have no money left over to pay the bills.

Sppreading your cash across the season is always a good thing
One for all.... and all for one

i imagine in sa road they dont want them all to go into st holders as these will be the most expensive seats in ground on match day hence they cap what they have sold, they probably let people pick from it to atotal,
there cant be many left to sell now

He also said that when he was picking his seats he had The choice of 250-300 seats which I don't understand why don't they just let everyone sit where they wanna sit and not say it's sold out until it is:yush:

I was told the ST's were capped to allow another 1600 new ones only.

Very lucrative those tourists packages you know!

Forget the games with low appeal for walk ups. Selling these seats for sly high prices for the 6 to 8 high profile games will mean even if left empty rest of the time the board will be quids in

                          FFS it's only July (again)
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

On the On line booking R Block is sold out, but they say on the offy that restricted views are still available in there - wish they would make their mind up and maybe communicate.
