Pie supplier renews QPR deal

Leicester-based pie manufacturer Pukka Pies has renewed its partnership with newly promoted Premier League side Queens Park Rangers FC.

The agreement sees the company continue to supply pies and savouries at the club’s London home, Loftus Road.

Pukka Pies marketing controller Peter Mayes said: “We are delighted to be going into the Premier League with Queens Park Rangers. The club enjoyed a fantastic championship-winning campaign and we look forward to supplying even more fans with our quality products at Loftus Road.”

“We enjoyed a record-breaking season ourselves last year and the 2011-12 campaign promises to be even better. Traditionally, our clubs experience excellent growth in average sales of pies and savouries and we look forward to developing that further.”

Pukka Pies also supply pies to rugby league and rugby union clubs, cricket counties and the Santa Pod Raceway.
