  • Who's with me?

I've not posted much for the last couple of months for two reasons - firstly because of work commitments and secondly because this forum hasn't always been a fun place to post but things are looking better.

If today hasn't given you a lift about the season to come then very little will. Warnock has signed two players that he clearly wanted. Forget about the players he has missed out on as all managers don't get the players they want. Did Man City sign Kaka a few years ago? Did Ferguson get Ronaldinho?

Today I remembered we are a Premiership team. Today I remembered that yes we might see our beloved team get thumped once or twice (or possibly a dozen or so times) next season but at least we have the opportunity to play the Liverpool's. Arsenal's, United's etc of the world. This time last year we had Palace and Cardiff fans giving us grief and who do they have to look forward to? Mmmm Burnley and Doncaster or Chelsea and Man City? Tough choice. We may just have one season in the top division so lets enjoy. Lets forget about how much the ST is or who is in charge or who we may or may not sign that is for others to decide and for others to take care of. Whether you can or can't get to Loftus Road next season there will be at least 6 matches that we already know of that will be on telly and your support will be appreciated regardless of whether you are there is person.

We are Champions of the Championship. I'm not even sure we have a trophy cabinet and whether you look at the official site or even go on wikipedia you won't find much under the honours list so lets enjoy it. I know we didn't have a parade. I know we feel like we are treated like dirt by T&C but we will be here longer than they ever will. We all know fans that are sadly know longer with us and therefore missed out on our moment of glory so lets enjoy this moment for them. As I said a lot of people won't get to the ground in person next season but that doesn't stop you from supporting Neil and the boys from where ever you maybe. If you can get there stand up and support them.

I for one who won't get there every game next season will enjoy next season as much as I can because who knows where we will be 12 months from now. I, like the rest of you have waited for a long time to be back in this position so it's time to stop the fighting and start enjoying watching our great team compete in the best league in the world.

So who's with me? Who from this moment on is going to say forget the rubbish and the arguments and move on and enjoy next season rather than looking for opportunities to moan. We are playing Premiership football whilst the likes of Cardiff and Palace etc aren't. If you can't enjoy that then what can you enjoy.

Anyway, rant over. Welcome Jay and Kieron - good luck and enjoy the ride.

VERY GOOD Post,i also think we should have some suggestions of how to get more supporters vocal during the game as we all know some parts of the ground is like a library at times. My suggestion would be at a certain time during the game say as the clock hits 10 mins the ground erupts with come on you R's, a) It would give our team a massive boost and b) could put some nerves into the opposition. If this was done at every home game more and more fans would get involved.Im sure many of you will have better ideas so lets see what we can come up with.
