Do we believe this 'On the verge of signing' ? It was from talkSPORT who are quite a big name in football
      Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
      And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

He looks decent and i like the way he always seems to pick out the right pass (from those clips), but we will wait and see....

Alberti, Pellicori etc. Italian are good as defenders but not strikers/midfielders. Who was the last impressive one in the PL after Di Canio?

Spoke to a mate who knows a lot about Lazio. He said Foggia did very well and was very promising a couple of seasons ago but also that he hasn't featured a lot lately. Probably has great potential but obviously no guaranteed success.

I find it strange that he said he is promising. Why he was not featured last seaosn unless that he was injured or there were better players. Serie A is not as good as the PL so I would say he may not be good enough. That's a personal view. However, I am sure he will not sign untill Warnock assesses him and I trust his decisions.

Maybe not but I'd say it's better than the championship which is pretty much all we have to base our players on. Worth a punt.

As long as nobody interfere with Warnock's decision, I am happy.

So the likes of Carlo Cudicini, Gianfranco Zola, Gianluca Vialli, Mario Balotelli, Roberto Mancini, Fabrizio Ravanelli and Federico Macheda have all been flops?

I can name you hundreds and hundreds of English players who have been a lot lot worse.

Giuseppe Rossi, arguably one of the most talented strikers on the planet at the moment, that is absolute tosh.
15 years in the wilderness will be a distant memory come Sunday 8th May 2011.
