Nothing new really, just that we expect to complete the signing of Dyer on a 1 year deal.

Not to keen on Dyer but again we have to trust Warnock after last year.

This is exactly the sort of player a club of our size and newfound status should be attracting. His Fitness record means so called 'bigger' clubs have other options, but we are better than coca-cola so come on down. Just hope we get some games out of him now...

I've spoken to Ipswich fan this morning who says that although he is still seen as a bit of a god at Portman Road he clearly isn't the player he once was and by the end of his brief spell he still looked unfit.

I trust Neil totally with signings (although Clarke was a gamble that didn't come off) but I hope we have a back up plan if injury strikes especially with Mackie still requiring time before he'll be back.

There are lots of positions where we are still weak but the failure to sign Routledge was a blow as it means we have no one with great pace to fly down the wings. Smith and Mackie are OK as far as they go but they aren't going to terrify too many Premiership defences. As you say, Dyer - particularly with Bullard and an ageing Derry - is a big risk in midfield. Against that he clearly has great ability if fit and presuambly with the budgets Warno is working in he doesn't have many options.

Fair point! But surely the likes of Clarke and Hulse were more "squad" aquisitions.

Now they get moved out and the likes of HH and Dyer takes their place. Not bad eh?

                Onwards and upwards you rrrrrr's!
