  • Keep the Champers on ice...

According to the Mail Bothroyd hasn't agreed terms yet. Confirms why I was saying yesterday that while at a normal club players agree terms prior to a medical, don't assume at QPR that we would go about it the straightforward way. Transfer not in the bag yet, then:

Jay Bothroyd has had a medical at Queens Park Rangers ahead of agreeing terms.

The 28-year-old striker is out of contract after his deal with Cardiff expired.

I don't think there are many who'll have a medical if there is no intention of signing. It'd be a waste of their time, just as much as ours.

QPR's last and final offer was sent to Sky Andrew last week (did you not see the email), so why would he have a medical, if he was not going to accept them ?

Another valid point which I forgot about. Even with that aside, there really is no point in having a medical if you have no intention of signing.

Only at Rangers do medicals take about 2 weeks to go through and get approved!

That's a ver good point, yeah might of had some gf's but def somes across like a bender. Good footballer but a real nancy. I disagree with Nodge, I think he would expect say 50k if the interest was there but realising he might have to settle for half that now. He is a big unit but he dives and I even heard him scrill when he played us. Dodgy facial hair and acts bent to me, although without his goals.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Of course. The key question, though, is will the board sanction it? I hope they do but all I'm saying is given everything that has happened behind the scenes don't take this for granted just yet.

Its a pleasant surprise that we are now asking players to pass medicals before signing contracts.

The Daily Mail also reported that we would be deducted 15 points over our problems with Mr Faurlin.

The Daily Star reported that a bus was seen on the moon.

The Sun has pictures of naked ladies on page 3.

The News of the World now no longer exists.

For update information and current news - on sport, in this case QPR....you should only trust people on the messageboard forums. The rest is pure speculation
