If we sign both DJ and Booth

A) Warnock does not do 4-4-2 and has not done for years, in the whole of last season we went 4-4-2 for one half of one game

B) We cannot compete with a midfield 2 against everyone else who has a midfield 3 it would be absolutely suicidal.

C) Warnocks preferred formation is 4-2-3-1 he played it from the moment he arrived with 4-3-3 as an alternative.

D) We don't have the midfield for 4-4-2 nor the wingers, nor the full backs our success was built on the back four (except for the walker period) barely crossing the half way line, it would be hugely surprising should he want to change it.

All true, but will he try something different? Not sure Bullard fits into that as he's not a tough tackler to sit alongside Faurlin but nor is he the maruading attacking midfielder of five years ago and seems to sit quite deep now. Might work better in a flat midfield four, but who knows...
