Will Warno opt to play 4-4-2 ? I cant see us leaving one on the bench if we play our last system.

Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

IMO, we need to ply 4-2-3-1 next season, so you can not play Boothroyd & DJ, as well as Faurlin & Derry in their most favoured positions, in the same team, so it will be one or the other and if Boothroyd signs, I bet DJ doesn't, as he wont want to sit on the bench. We would reenact Custers last stand, week in week out if we did.Last edited by paulmason; 12-07-2011, 02:06 PM.

A) Warnock does not do 4-4-2 and has not done for years, in the whole of last season we went 4-4-2 for one half of one game
B) We cannot compete with a midfield 2 against everyone else who has a midfield 3 it would be absolutely suicidal.
C) Warnocks preferred formation is 4-2-3-1 he played it from the moment he arrived with 4-3-3 as an alternative.
D) We don't have the midfield for 4-4-2 nor the wingers, nor the full backs our success was built on the back four (except for the walker period) barely crossing the half way line, it would be hugely surprising should he want to change it.
