You do have some valid points, but you're giving the man far more credit than he deserves, as things stand. Make no mistake, he's as ruthless as any greedy businessman. I have no problem with the wage cap, though. £25k is a good enough amount to attract a good standard of player to the club, and a wise choice given the size of our ground, and the fan base we currently have willing to put money back in. If we start paying a silly wage, we're in trouble if things go wrong. We are bleeding money as it is, so stop dreaming of paying Joe Cole £90k per week, or even Krankjar £50k. It ain't gonna happen.Your mum would love me...
