Still hopeful of Andy Johnson, would be a brilliant signing.

Would be a good signing. Bit strange he told you that but you've got a lot of posts so no way is it a porky
          Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
          And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

[QUOTE=Stilts;654318]The problem with Ambrose is that people only seem to focus on his time at Palace.
Even though he's done well there.

But when people talk about needing proven Prem players, he's not mentioned.
He is a fairly experienced Premier League player.

He played for Ipswich, Newcastle and Charlton in the Prem, and did very well there.
            He's a good talented player, and he's only 27, not 33.

I wouldn't right him off as some lower league nobody who only had one decent season under Warnock at Palace.
            He's much better than that.
And Warnock knows him well. There comes a point where you have to trust Warnock a bit more than some people are right now.

I thought this story came from a bloke in a service station. If Neil wants him in Warnock I trust!!

People can't just type "Trust In Warnock" etc.., and then slaughter the players he feels would fit in to QPR, and who HE wants.
But entirely begs the question why he wants him. If he could afford Routledge, would he still be interested in Ambrose?

Personally, I think he would, yes.
But who knows? Apart from Warnock, obviously!

Me - I like Routledge. But Ambrose has certainly done more in the PL than Routledge ever has.

Lets face it, last year CP with a new manager which gave him his start in football and the new owners offered him a new deal and no doubt also promised him that they would be competing for promotion. He was happy at CP so signed a new deal, only for the investment in the playing side not to arrive and the manager departs.

Now he is looking to move on and could come to us,so what is he menat to say to a question like that, apart from what he did.

I also think that we will only be interested if either Adel leaves and WR dosnt sign (not dead yet until he signs for the foxes), as he would be our other creative player.

Not bad, actual think he will be more of a threat than WR as well
