Nodge is spot on in my view. Routledge is an excellent player at Championship level, but has struggled in the Premiership on a number of occasions. Really don't think that not signing him is a sign of impending doom.

That said, their line-up looks stronger than ours at this moment in time. We desperately need Premiership quality signings.

                I never said we wasn't.

I simply argued the quality of Norwich and Swansea's signings up to now.

Struggling to find an upside to this, if he goes somewhere else I only hope it's because for whatever reason he doesn't fit in to Neil's plans. If he goes to Swansea it would appear on the face of it that they have beaten us to both Routledge and Graham, which is embarrassing as they are not a rich club.

Erm no. Bothroyd cannot be overpriced as he is a free agent. If you mean his wages are way too high then yeah we all agree - but that doesn't make him overpriced so much as a greedy little twunt

When or if Routledge signs we can add his 5 goals, and make it 15 for the 3 of them, So it now becomes every goal they score over 15, I will buy you 2 pints.

By the way what are you getting me when I win? Let me think ............
                          Just a pint will do.

One minute its 10 goals between the 3 of them which I was happy to accept, then its 10 between 2 of them, and now its 15 between 3 of them.

Dont think anyone is saying Routs is a Premiership world beater but he was one of our best players in the second half of the season and was a big improvement on Mackie (although I know you aren't meant to say that on this board). Losing him to one of our biggest relegation rivals can hardly be anything other than bad news, given that we have shown very little sign of getting in a better replacement.

I wager that between the 3 of them they score no more that 10 goals.
My original post Mr Morris, I then stated in the second, until Routledge signs we can make it 10 from 2, Graham and Sinclair, mine's a Guinness.

I have just read my post again and you are right, I have had a long day on excel spreadsheets, I might have to go and check them again.

10 from 3 it is then, no more taker please, it might be close, it could cost me 2 pints.
