And perhaps he doesnt want to leave the players, whom he seems close to, in the lurch as well.

There certainly is/was a great team spirit installed by Warnock and the players he brought in. That could also be a factor as to why he's still here.

I spent a game in a box with a few of the wags last year. And Derrys mrs' was saying that literally he would take a bullet for Neil. Orr, Derry, Paddy..all their families were exactly the same.

NW's apparent situation reminds me a bit of the last few months of Holloway's reign, after Paladini had started his meddling -- got the feeling IH was forced out when results dipped, and he was forced to take on a whole host of foreign signings and loans no-one else had ever heard of -- Marcin Kus, Ugo Ukah, Sami Youssef, Adam Czerkas are four that sprung to mind. You could probably add Nygaard to that too.
All seemed to really come to a head that season in Feb 2006 where we had 5 loan players in the game up at Leeds, including a keeper we picked up on the way to the game. Richard Langley, who was back by then, was warming up in front of the away stand, and we were chatting to him, and I was asking who that player was, and what was that player's name, and he just shrugged and smiled in a resigned sort of way and replied that he had no idea.
Really felt Olly was forced out by Paladini's interference and lack of support with the signings that he perhaps wanted, and I fear that NW is in the same situation with GP and FB. It seems to be the Italian way.

Spot on!! It´s the main factor,I think.

Warnock is the man who keeps the squad together right now.

No wonder Olli talked to Leicester city really.
Poor Olli, I will always have fond memories of him.
A little part of me dies when I occasionally get a little glimpse of him on Tv as the Blackpool manager.

But in fearness I feel we have to same loving character in Neil Warnock.

In fact, the team for that Leeds game included 5 debutants -- this was the team:
Barnes, Kus, Shittu, (Keith) Lowe, (Andy) Taylor, Cook, Lomas, Bignot, Ainsworth, (Leon) Clarke, Moore.

I'd almost forgotten that Leon Clarke had played in that game for us.

If we get the same situation again, with NW, I wouldn't be in the least surprised. What a way to force out a promotion-winning manager.

                                to be honest

to be honest im getting the complete opposite rumours, ive been told that both bernie and flavio know they cant upset neil warnock

he is very much his own man,and never has neil warnock threatend to walk
lets forget flavio for a minute its bernie whos making the decisions

you saw how when neil warnock offerd ambrose a deal it was a discount bid he put in,but he has made no effort to go back with a bigger bid

all this so called bad feeling has been invented by the press to try to create a sensation, please understand that putting up rumours like this are so very very damageing

its one thing to conjecture about players comming in but neil warnocks way has always been to buy in at discount prices he is a managerial genius and we dont want to lose him,so pleasse please please no more of these type posts,i love nothing more than posting complete nonsence,

BUT NEIL WARNOCK MUST BE LEFT ALONE,WE WANT HIM TO STAY FOR ANOTHER EIGHT YEARS,HE IS LEAVING QPR OVER MY DEAD BODY
