He's scored goals in the 3rd tier of English football... so what. To think he would cut it in the Premier League is optimistic, but to then be talkng about the supposed transfer fee it is a complete waste of cash.
He is certainly not what we need, and i am glad we haven't signed him. When i heard that the owners didn't back Warnock (allegedly, if he actually wanted him) i was actually quite happy about it, thinking maybe they actually feel we need a better calibre of player to represent the "brand / boutique" to try and stay in the top flight.
