  • British Grand Prix Protest

I take it all the moaners are saving the banners for tomorrow, as I've not seen of heard of any yet by my friends who work at Silverstone. This is Bernie and Flavio's 'home' turf so I assume we'll see some tomorrow live on the BBC as promised.

Or is it just a lot easier to sit at home and moan on the internet rather than actually do anything?

I Know nearly all the staff at Silverstone and i can assure you none of them are QPR fans. They all work for The BRDC or Silverstone Circuits track side. I have been on the Incident team for 28 years and all of my marshaling collages hate Football. Are you talking security or spectator marshals? as are not employed by the Circuit or The BRDC.

I wasn't suggesting any of them were QPR fans, but there was talk on here about protests there but as usual it's far easier to just moan on the internet than actually try and do anything to prove your point. My friends at Silverstone are BRDC and also people in a motorsport publication. There have been no banners despite all the chat here and on other websites, which was my point.

If you've been on the incident for 28 years, chances are you've seen me racing a few years ago, but only in Mini Se7ens. ;-)

A couple of people I have kept in touch with since I stopped racing.

I didn't see any banners today, did Bernie get them removed?
