There is nothing wrong in slating players off when they are playing crap

Clarke and Legs of Wood got the message and we would probably still be stuck with them if we was to praise every player even when they play poor

You mean the same legs of wood who went to reading and they lost one game with him in the team (IIRC) and narrowly missed out on promotion? Yeah he is useless. Cant believe you actually condone fans slating players who are low on confidence, mikele used to get stick if he misplaced one pass. No wonder his confidence was shot when he was playing in front of fans like you.

Why should people heap praise when they play crap?

Fans like me speak up when we got players who are playing poor and want to better the team to have some success

Nothing worse then fans like you who idolise players just because they play for us and want to hang onto poor players so you dont hurt there feelings

Did I say that I want to hang on to poor players or that I idolise players who play for us? No. I support anybody that plays for us, you think that slating players helps them? Carry on lowering players confidence and driving them away, because of course Leighterwood is useless when Reading did so well with him in the team. But obviously the footballing experts on watrb's know best.

Adel is an idol for his skills and rightly so Hulse is not an idol by no means. He is a grafter and a clinical enough finisher when he is injuryfree!

Your other comments makes no sense whatever when we are dicussing players who are either played out of position or injured like Hulse was last year.

He was one of the reasons Reading was not promoted due to his poor performance at the play offs

Silly mentality to have that you cant give an opinion when a player is playing poor

You want people not to comment and just pretend like they are good?

You think we should of kept legs of wood?

He was dire and glad fans spoke up to get rid of him

Why do you keep making excuses that he was badly injured and thats why he played poor throughout the season

Do you think NW would of played him if he was in that much in pain?

He aint showed any signs of being a grafter or a clinical enough finisher for us and I dont want to take a chance with him in the Prem

I see what your saying, but his injury was a longlasting one! Dont get me wrong, we have to buy a new striker or two before season starts, but I would like to see what he can produce complete injuryfree and given decent crosses to work on.

Regarding Warnock, Helgusson does often carry knocks and needs to be rested(precausious or not) almost on a frequently basis, so in that respect I think Warnoch had to play Hulse even when he clearly lacked sharpness and the right touch.Who else could he choose from? Tommy Smith, yes. But for some reason or the other he obviously didnt fit in playing as a sole striker.
I remember Hulse last season stated that he at times couldnt even jump for the ball.
Hence if he fails this season he has no excuse anymore. During preseason he has to have recovered or he is out of contention for a place even on the bench.
If he have gotten his pace back, he will be a much better player for us.

As I see it:preseason-games will give us parts of the answer.

I have just asked my clairvoyant and she has confirmed that Hulse will score no more than one goal in the premiership however many games he plays.
