I'd take Routledge on, but in addition to a replacement for Taarabt. Routledge was really effective when drifting into the centre and swapping roles with Taarabt, (case in point his excellent goals against Coventry and Reading), but I don't think he has the quality and guile to play there consistently in the Premiership. Plus his pace would go to waste.
It's gonna be impossible to replace Adel's creativity, as players of his type go for big money. If we lose him, we will probably have to change our tactics and look at a box-to-box type of player.

we need a bit more than just routledge.. as selfish as adel is.. he is the one player we have who can create something out of nothing. just see the matches vs the welsh duo.Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"

wikipedia
Siguršsson made his debut for 1899 Hoffenheim on the 10 September 2010, coming on with ten minutes to go in the 2–0 win over Schalke. A week later, he scored his first goal for Hoffenheim in a 2–2 draw with Kaiserslautern after coming on as a 77th minute substitute in the match, scoring with his first touch, a 20 yard free-kick that levelled the game.[27] His second goal for the club was another free-kick, but from 25 yards, against Mainz in a 4–2 away defeat.[28] Siguršsson added another two goals to his tally in Hoffenheim's home win against Hannover 96, one of which was from the penalty spot. On the 25th May 2011 Gylfi was voted as 1899 Hoffenheim's fans' player of the season, despite only starting 13 games. He finished the season with 10 goals and 2 assists.Last edited by QPR1234; 07-07-2011, 04:39 PM.Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
