Gorman was at Southampton with Hoddle from 2000/01 with Walcott making his debut in 2004/05

Southampton bought Walcott from Swindon for £5k when they they were skint so it was quite possible they signed him up 3 years before he made his debut. They also had tied with Swindon as they were both there in the 90s, so it it's very likely
