I bought mine because I can afford it. And I love taking my daughter to see our team play. I support QPR, not the owners of. QPR will still be here long after the owners have gone and I will still be a season ticker holder. We could get relegated all the way down to conference south and I still buy a season ticket. Ken bates could take over and I would still buy one. Because QPR are my club and I love my club.

You are extremely naive if you believe a single penny of the money we spend on QPR goes into their pockets.
The club runs at a massive loss and our money simply reduces their loss margin - by an almost irrelevant amount.
We spend the money for the reasons so many above have explained and not, in any way do we condone their behaviour. But why should we stop doing what we do because of them, it will make no difference if we do.

They do not sit back in their mansions laughing because of what we spend or pull away in their chauffeur driven cars knowing we paid for the petrol because the money we spend is a mere fraction of the losses incurred in the day to day running of the club.

I suggest if you really believe they are making a profit out of our revenue, then you need to sit down and do your sums again because in truth I doubt our ticket money even covers the wages of the Club staff and Stewarding, let alone that of the players.

They brought the club for next to nothing and are going to sell for more than they brought it for hence why they want £100m so they can make a profit!!! if they take the money from any taarabt sale and ST's then the club will be in more debt and not worth anything so they wont make a profit.. They are not stupid. I hate them both but they are buisness men and would rather sell for a small profit then lose money

Ask them that one - but answer another one, how many football club's in this Country run at a profit?

A snippet from an Independant Newspaper Article below:-

Premier League debt comes in several different forms. Several clubs have borrowed directly from banks. These loans tend to come with a variable interest rate and relatively short repayment dates. Liverpool have come unstuck with this type of borrowing. The Royal Bank of Scotland is demanding that the club's American owners, who owe the bank £237m, bring in a new investor with £100m to pay down debt as a condition of rolling over its borrowings again this summer.

Other clubs have tapped the bond markets to raise money. Manchester United and Arsenal have issued securities worth £500m and £245m respectively, secured on club assets. Bonds tend to have a longer maturity than bank debt. In Arsenal's case, the club is locked in at a reasonable interest rate for 20 years. But some bonds are kinder than others. United's recent offering gives them just seven years in which to repay the money, and at a higher rate of interest.

Yet the most expensive debt in the Premier League is the £200m so-called "payment-in-kind notes" which the Glazer family took out when they acquired United in 2005. This summer the annual interest rate on that tranche of borrowing will rise to an astonishing 16.5 per cent, with full repayment due in 2017.

The accounts of many clubs, such as Fulham, Aston Villa and Wigan, show that they are beneficiaries of loans from their owners, or rather usually other companies which also belong to their benefactors. On the face of it, this type of financing looks safe and cheap as it tends to come with a very low interest rate (often zero) and no urgency on repayment. The owners of Chelsea and Manchester City have even written off their soft loans of £701m and £305m respectively in recent months, making these two clubs debt-free.

But can smaller clubs expect such debt forgiveness from their owners should they run into financial crisis or their benefactor decides to sell up? The grim fate of Portsmouth should be a warning. Alexandre Gaydamak sold the South Coast club last year, but he still wanted £28m of his investment back; a demand that seems to have helped push Pompey under.

Not sure if I have to "credit" the link for this one MODS? Sorry if I have broken the rules

You stick to composing inter-continental internet rants and having a good old daily cyber-moan, no problem. And I'll suffer like a fool at Loftus Road.
              Yeah I know, I'm a mug, a sheep, etc..

Did you know that they have lent QPR the business a lot of money to pay off debt. Now if further debt is incurred by QPR, I.E. getting rid of Warnock, they will lend QPR further money to pay him off at an interest rate. I.e taking more money out of the club.

The reason they have not bought anyone is to maximise their profits. Simples.

                          Why ? Here's why.....

I've dragged my Son to virtually every games for the last 14 years, he's suffered like me Relegation, Vauxhall Motors, etc. Now we've made it to the Premier League - I cannot (will not) tell him he can't go. It would break his and my heart.

We're lucky enough to have very good gold seats, front row to be specific, and if I gave them up, I'd never get front row and the comfort of leg room again (I'm a big old lump)

I support the Football Team, not it's owners. The Players even the Manager.

What else am I going to do on a Saturday afternoon ? Go shopping with the Wife & Daughter - That would cost CONSIDERABLY more than £40 watching QPR. admittedly, Petrol adds to that, but I will not be buying ANY merchandise to line their pockets further.

I'm not sure why your so concerned about how I spend my hard earned.
                          Each to their own.

Good luck, hope you get to return to LR sooner than later - I guess it would spell the end of T&C.

You are giving these crooks your hard earned cash and when I see season ticket close to selling out I despair.

To think that this lot did not even put anything on to celebrate the biggest achievement in our clubs history - parade, fun day at the stadium anything to for the fans.....

Then they point blankly refuse to spend a single penny on improving the squad. Anyone knows that it is a massive jump to the Premiership and not only have we not strengthend we have pro-actively weakend our team by not signing Routledge and most likely our best player by a street. I think we would not have a hope in hell of getting promotion from the Championship without Routledge or Tarrabt, let alone survive in the Premiership.

On top of this they have the audacity to nearly double the ticket prices to get in. This is the most blatant fraudulent behaviour I have ever witnessed and makes me seething. Its all well and good saying the fans will be seeing a better standard of football, but that is only true for the opposition and how many true QPR fans turn up to watch the opposition. We are paying more money to watch a worse team.

I trully cannot see us beating a single team in the Premiership. We didn't beat Norwich home and away last year and they have improved and I can't see us beating Swansea, with Danny Graham, Sinclair and new Barcalona forward.

Makes me sick. Sorry for a depressing post but goes to show how bad this pre-season has become and when I see the sheep mindlessly following along and buying tickets I feel that you are being so conned. I can imagine tango and cash laughing at the fans as the sales roll in.

Should be done under the trade descriptions act. Rant OVER

because they are totally deluded and really care about the club just there own personal needs.

Your son is probably near enough my age, my old man said roughly the same thing to me last week, all the **** weve gone through to get to the ultimate goal of top flight football. No matter what, our club is our pride and in some ways we feel that its apart of us (with all the time, energy and passion invested into it) its like a second family me.

We're there to support the team, and right now the team need our support more than ever.
Additionally, my dad has terminal lung disease, and hasn't got enough time to wait for T&C to sling their hook -- I wouldn't deny him the chance to miss one of his last seasons of watching Rangers 'on principle'.

But, actually, even if that wasn't the situation, no-one has the right to tell other people how to earn their money, and I'd rather be in a stadium of Rangers fans than one full of tourists (although there'll be a fair few of those, there'll be even more if the fans don't renew).
