It makes perfect sense, but it just makes thing worse IMO. If neither will budge, we're pretty f**ked as things stand.
The Mittal's are just as much to blame in all this. If they really were that bothered, they'd get it over and done with. It's not like they'll miss the money.
Be careful what you whish for the mittel are no mugs they have their budget if they have to pay over the top for control there will be less of a budget for players

Now Benny Boy don't take this the wrong way as I do like your posts but to say they won't miss 40 million is a little bit naive. Of course they would miss 40 million and to just write it off because we will be buggered is not the way to do business.
The deal has to be good for them too, I agree that they are not blameless but to just write off that sort of money is a ridiculous thing to suggest really.
I don't profess to know anything or even understand how such high flying business would be carried out.
However I was told by one of the City bods we do work for that ALL the shares in the Holding Company are on offer with "an intent to sell". That includes the 30% apparently owned by the Mittalls.
I don't know if that is posturing by both sides, if they are both in it together or if this is some form of buy out formality.
One thing I cannot get my head around and have never been able to is the position with the loan which was bought and owned by an SPV company which as far as i am aware is owned 50-50 by Flav and Amit.
There are lots of tie ups between the 3 parties that own the club (even outside of W12) and I just cannot see the level of intransigence that seems to be the public line in existence.
Either they are still having the crack and one will buy the other out or all 3 parties are in it togehter and have put the whole shooting match up for sale.
One things for sure - until it comes down one side of the line or other NOTHING will be sorted in terms of transfers, contracts, sponsorship deals etc.
That advantage from winning the title gone in an instant!
FFS it's only July (again)
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.
It's not racist at all. Far from it, in fact. They are good businessmen, so more of a compliment. They are notoriously tight/canny with their funds, and will always look for the best deals, but when negotiating with the likes of FB and BE, you either give in to their demands, or walk away. They are doing neither, which is not right where our club is concerned.
We all know that no one is going to offer that kind of money for QPR and they both want out. Bernie & Flavio will give up and the Mittel's will get QPR at the right price.
That extra money will go to wards new transfers, you have to be smart and the transfer window don't close till 30th Aug.
If I go into a shop and see something I want to buy, I will not pay over the odds for it, why should they?
