Got back in from looking at a job a wee while back and was greeted with the latest PR nightmare coming out of W12 -- can we not change the name to BPR? (B being bad)
So I sought out the city trader chap who gave me a throw away comment or 4 a few days back. No real development any further from what he told me about certain shares being up for grabs --- a value of between £30M and £50M is what he said.
Told me only interest would be from abroad saying "from oneof the 4 East's" so I ask what they are and he says "Far East, Middle East, Eastern Block and the East End" --- funny geezer. He then cryptically added "they'll all only be interested for the same reason" and left a rather large hanging silence.
Turns out fella is a Spurs fan.
City trader? Spurs fan? Info probably as reliable as any random fella with a drum to beat.
I'm sticking with my gut feel which comes down two ways.
1. There's something big in the offing
2. As many have said T&C are ####ing NW's chain due to his Mittal alliegances and want him out or to pocket dosh and run, run, run.
You gotta love Drama Park Rangers.
