"He is a striker who scores goals and you will never see a player who can match his workrate - it's unbelievable. He is so energetic and powerful in what he does that it will rub off on the rest of the squad. He is a very clever player all around the box. He can hold the ball up, even though he is not the biggest, he always plays off the shoulder of the last defender, he is quicker than he looks and he can score with his right foot, left foot and his head"

I have highlighted two things we have not had since Les Ferdinand.

Fair points Paul but scoring goal against Hartlepool & Notts County and playing off the shoulder of Swindon's centre half is an entirely different thing to scoring goals against Man Utd and playing off of the Shoulder of John Terry.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Jermaine Beckford managed to score 8 times after the step up and scored when JT was the CB as well ?

I would say thats a sidewards step. Leicester, West Ham favourites to go up. He knows he isnt good enough to hack it there if I am honest.
15 years in the wilderness will be a distant memory come Sunday 8th May 2011.

Forgetting QPR for a minute - why did he go to BHAFC when West Ham, Norwich and Leicester were also after him?

Are they all tight-fisted and run by clowns too?
                  I would say not.

Maybe CMS has a soft spot for Brighton?

Yep. New ground, nice part of the country.
