I remember a few months back one of the chaps told me that Bernie was paying for qpr, £500k per month.

Bernie may have bailed the club out or kept us going BUT
Mittals provided transfer funds a couple of seasons with their initial investment, then they paid for January window, after which they said no more unless we get a bigger slice of the cake, which they got at the begining of last season.

Very little was spent last January other than loans or freebies.
Chimbonda, Shittu, Routledge, Miller, etc.

But for sure Tango has very short arms and deep pockets when it comes to his own wedge. But he is very good at getting others to stump up.
For example, Bernie & Mittals, Lotto, Gulf Air.

Except 1 thing - I think he DID put some money up for the Amula loan, but thats held against the ground, so a VERY sound investment.

As I say only my opinion, but until I see proof otherwise, I see no reason to change it.

I always thought the mittals looked genuine about 'loving' QPR. If they did (Amit at least) would have put up a better scrap. dead right on the tracking investment scenario. I did notice on the offish Itchy and scratchy (F and B)have revamped the coorperate boxes. I think thats probably the only cash injection the clubs going to get at this rate from those 2!!

If the Mittals have a minority share then there is no point in them putting larger sums in without control. I think people don't realise that when they had the chance to take over the club Flavio was being investigated, as a partner this would scare anybody taking on a bigger share of something that could also drag your own personal reputation through the mud!

In terms of people saying they should by the club no matter what, I think you need your heads examined!

What is premiership about Qpr other than our status? Our ground? our squad? Our training facilities? Our fanbase? 200m would need to be invested , they could buy Newcastle for a cheaper price than the circus want for QPR! Which is crazy. Weather they love Qpr or not, no business man is going to nevthat stupid especially the richest one in Europe!

Who ever has funded the transfers it's only a loan - they are not saviours they will take it back when they sell the club or when the premiership money comes in.

Having said that, moon safari states the January activity was by the Mittals, i know where moons source is and it's a good one, Amit also has a lot of Money tied up in the club also according to moon

Smudge seems to think the Mittals have made a decent offer and a decent valuation of the club, the Problem is if this take over doesn't happen soon we will not be able to get players in in time.

It could be getting personal between the parties too.

Thats exactly it i think mate. Neither side anst their ego dented or to "lose" a personal vendetta, i reckon thats getting in the way of any takeover.
