Absolutely. He could have offered the money FB/BE asked for.

The Mittals seem to be treated like gods as if theyve realyl done anything for our club.... Tbf, they have good PR and seem to know what to say to get the fans on board and thats brilliant, but they clearly dont want to put much money into the club as they wont even stump up the cash to buy us. What makes anybody think, transfer wise, were going to be better off with them ?

I have pften stated ny doubts about the Mittals.

I am not convinced that they are serious about QPR. They bought a 20% share in 2008, and were given extra shares in 2010 (according to the statement released after Bhatia resigned).

All in all it has so far cost them very little (it seems as if only BE & FB have been loaning funds to the club, and the recent bid was described as derisory (when Mittal could easily afford to buy the club) so why do people still think they are keen to buy QPR?

If they really were, would they have not resolved this two or three weeks ago and allowed Warnock to put together a squad that can compete for a top half Premier League place? Instead the squad that clinched the Championship title (not even very convincingly at the end) will be returning for pre-season training and in all honesty, will be lucky to escape from the bottom 3 once the season begins.

I Agree they could have brought the club when Tango was having probs & they should have taken his shares then. but surely these 2 clowns are asking an over inflated price and I dont think anyone in their right mind will pay the 100mil they want, there are bigger clubs than us who it would be cheaper to purchase, also agree that they haven't showered the club with money but Amit was instrumental in bringing Warnock to the club not sure he would have come without their influence at the time which leaves us where we are now. I personally think the Mittals have gone cold on the idea of ownig us especially at that price.

I don't believe the asking price is really £100M. Even Newcastle couldn't be sold for that price and Villa cost around £68M.

My guess is that Mittal's offer was for around £20-30M and that BE & FB would sell the club for around £35-40M. and having their loans repaid.

                The Mittals are sitting pretty..
they will get a healthy return on their 33% investment..
they come up smelling of roses while BE and FB take the flak..
they havnt stepped up to the plate..
the whole fantasy about them has been destabilising
that is why they are billionaires..
                bottom line is..
it is a nice little earner for them..
                they dont want QPR
they are just monitoring another investment..

It's my belief most transfers for the last couple of years have been funded mainly by the Mittals.

Cash may have spent some, but Tango most certainly has not.

He's a sponger, a parasite. He uses other peoples money (Bernie/Amit etc.) to make money for himself. He doesn't have enough to take a gamble himself.
                      CHEAT.

Totally agree with all you say about Flav mate, but ive heard from numerous people that transfers have all been funded by Bernie. By all accounts (not defending him by the way, i Hate the man, just stating what ive heard) he has put quite a bit of his own cash into the club since hes taken us over. Hense his hugely inflated asking price when looking to sell.

its been bernie and flavio covering the losses at the club , the mittals have sat back and absorbed the adulation but have done fk all to deserve it, if they wanted the club they could buy it in a blink of an eye fact, fk me mittals worth ,with the bounce back in the steel industry world markets doubled from it s "low" of £17 billion. he would have made the money back in buying ranger s within amonth in interest alone. dont believe for one second they really want us
