No adel, no WR we have lost 2 very good players, yet like mentioned we are stuck with dross like Vine, agyemang, hulse, borrowdale, pellicori, alberti etc etc. I named 5 players that I felt will be able to step up to premier league level. Kenny, WR, Adel, smith and Faurin also possibly Derry. Now when you take away those 2 names it looks very worrying. Surely we have to keep hold of our better players. I know some think that 8million will be spent on new additions but the way Tango and Cash have been running our club i'm not sure how some can be so sure. Worrying times and I agree with w12 I am starting to find this club a joke, without Neil warnock we are punching well above our weight and it could get very embarracing.

I've been one of his strongest supporters over the last 30 months.
I'd love to see him improving and entertaining and setting up others with sublime passes and scoring spectacular goals and winning us precious Premiership points whilst his value soars to Carroll levels, BUT -

£13.5 Million is very good money for someone unproven at this level.
He may not repeat last years form. Redknapp (and others) could be right.
Warnock, Derry and many others within the Club commented many times on how frustrating his is and his tantrums.
I suspect they will only get worse with the Premiership lights and cameras on him. Especially if he could be elsewhere at a bigger club where he feels more at home.
I suspect he and NW and The Club will fall out and he'll refuse to play/strike if we don't let him leave.

I would test PSG with a "£15 and he's yours to speak to" response.
It would be intersting to see if any other clubs make an offer (I doubt it)
After Spurs 40% cut, I would hope NW would be given the £9 to add to whatever he has at his disposal now. (£6+9=15, £10+9, etc)

I'm sure he'd have preferred it a months ago ( we'd have Graham and others ) but also sure he would make a decent fist of staying up.

I'd be left to wonder what could have been, whilst enjoying all the many memories over the last 2.5 years and thanking him for doing so much to get us promoted (along with many others to lesser degrees)

Others will say good riddance, and have their wish and a flairless team full of Derry's and their chance to prove we could have done without him all along.

My anger is beginning to subside. I'm getting to the stage where I'm past caring, as long as our current mob sell up to someone who cares about the club and its fans. We are currently the laughing stock of UK football. But the debate is well and truly over for this season: we are going down, no-one should be under ANY illusions about that, and I just hope we are in a better position to come back up the following season under new ownership.
